Flyer Stand - Opticals Store
Project type
Product Design - Display System
Date
April 2026
Location
Portugal
This project is a product design and industrial design case study developed as part of a design course in Portugal. It explores how form, material, and visual communication can express meaning in physical products.
Rather than a conventional display, I designed an abstract eye‑inspired acrylic flyer holder for an optical store. The shape echoes the anatomy of the eye — using a white outer ring, blue iris inspired by Opticalia’s brand colours, and a translucent pupil that intentionally blurs the information behind it, reinforcing the concept of vision distortion and eye health communication.
The process included research, concept sketches, prototyping, and model making, demonstrating a complete design thinking workflow that balances user experience, metaphor, and functional design. This case study showcases real‑world design skills in industrial design, product development, and design process documentation.
Ideal for designers, students, and recruiters interested in product design case studies and industrial design portfolios.
